Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics University was established in 2017 by the Government of Karnataka as a unitary university. It is also known as BASE University and strives to become a leading institute for economic education and research. It nurtures students to become future economists by imparting quality knowledge, aims to become the finest training institute in Economics, and emphasises on holistic development of students. BASE University is a State University approved by UGC.
Vision and Mission: To establish state of art school of learning economics and social sciences wherein students are trained to understand facts, weight evidence, and distinguish issues. It is committed to graduate individuals with knowledge of economics who will work towards betterment of country and create an inclusive society by participating in various government, private, public, or academic institutes.
BASE University provides courses at UG level with Integrated M.Sc. programs and at PG level with M.Sc program.
