Siddharth University placements are average as they mostly offer the academic courses and there aren’t many professional courses apart from B. Ed. However, the tables are turning as the B. Com (Hons) students have been placed with packages worth 5 lakhs from the university in 2021.
The students doing PG courses have recorded some nice placements in 2021 as the placement cell of the university is thriving hard to get more and more companies to the campus. Students have been made to drill and sweat it out to develop all the necessary skills required for placements. Since, it has just been seven years since the university has incepted, the placements will rise too.
Siddharth University is still a barren land on side as one half of the campus is developed that has 5-6 academic blocks and the main admin block. On the other half, the university has developed two beautiful hostels as both boys and girls hostels are inside the campus. The security is tight at both the hostels and students are not allowed to leave the campus post 8 pm be it boys or girls. The university doesn’t have any proper sports ground yet but since there are a lot of open spaces, one can play whichever sport they want as one side of the campus is still empty. Along with hostels, there is a four storied staff quarter building too. The central library of the university is huge and many new additions have been made to it lately. There’s a canteen and an open auditorium which has been grazed by many politicians including UP’s current chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji.
The Naugarh Railway station is the biggest railway station close to the university and Gorakhpur airport is the closest airport to the university. For students coming from far off, has to travel over 100kms as Gorakhpur has connectivity to all the major cities of UP, and India. The nearest airport to the university is Gorkhpur Airport which is again nearly 100kms from the university.
