Cluster University of Jammu was established in 2016 as an initiative of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan. It was established with an objective of promoting innovation, critical thinking, experimental learning, technology, science, and entrepreneurial skills and graduate skilled workforce which can contribute towards the development of society. It is a State University approved by UGC.
