The Placement Cell of the university plays a very important role in developing databases of prominent recruiters that can provide employment to its students. It creates awareness among students about different job roles offered by the recruiters and trains them accordingly. The campus of Bihar Animal Sciences University is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities that provide students an inclusive learning environment. The two colleges namely Bihar Veterinary College and Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology consist of the below-mentioned facilities:

• Laboratories: All the departments of Bihar Veterinary College have well-maintained laboratories equipped with requisite instruments that are used to conduct practical teaching sessions. The Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology has a Central Instrument Laboratory along with other labs that are used to carry out research related experiments.
• Library: The libraries of both the colleges are well-stocked with collection of academic resources like books, periodicals, journals, internet facilities, CD ROM, and other resources that support learning and teaching in multiple fields.
• Classrooms: The classrooms of Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology are equipped with audio-visual systems and advanced technologies to conduct lectures smoothly. There is a lecture theatre that has a seating capacity for around 175 students. This theatre can be used to organise meetings, seminars, conferences, and other small events.
• Hostel: Separate hostel facilities equipped with adequate amenities are available in both the colleges for boy and girl students. Hostels also have sports facilities. Rooms are allotted to the students based on the availability.
• Computer Laboratory: The Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology has a computer lab that is connected through LAN to provide internet access. Students and faculties of the college use the lab to conduct training, teaching sessions, report preparation, and other academic activities.
• Language Lab: The Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology has a Language Lab for students. Here students are provided guidance for learning new languages and improve their communication skills.
• Veterinary Emergency Response Unit: The Bihar Veterinary College of the university has this unit to train students and make them capable to perform rescue operations of animals in any disaster situation. It also trains them to take necessary measures to prevent outbreak of any disease post disaster.
