Raiganj University was established in 2015. This is the first unitary university which offers graduation and post graduation courses in its campus in North Bengal. The University aims at imparting high quality and accessible education to all the individuals especially to economically and socially backward classes. It is a State University approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC.
