Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya, Barpeta established in 2017 is a Private University. Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya Barpeta is approved by UGC. Admission in Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya is offered in Humanities, Science and Commerce at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Doctorate/ Certificate level.
Established in the year 2017, Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya Barpeta is spreading value based education with spiritualism. It came into existence after the bill passed in the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is approved by UGC with a Private University status, and is recognised by ASDM, INC, Assam Nursing Council, and Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Assam.
Vision: The University works with a vision to strengthen the weaker section of the society by emerging as a distinctive university reviving the socio-economic, religious, and educational responsibilities.
Mission: It was set up with a mission of providing quality education blended with spirituality to the weaker sections of the society. It aims to strengthen the mental and spiritual health in the society to attain world peace.
The university is providing degrees in several courses like, BA, MA, GNM, ANM, B.Sc, B.Com, BPT, Ph.D, etc through its three constituent institutions in its campus:
Admissions to most of the UG and PG programs are based on the merit secured in the qualifying exam. Candidates for B.Sc Nursing course are selected on the basis of Common Entrance Examination conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, and for GNM course, on the basis of the written test administered by the university. Students who want to enroll to the university must fill up the application form available on the official website after confirming the eligibility criteria for the respective courses. Students seeking admission to do Ph.D courses must have a Master’s or M.Phil degree of the concerned field with at least 55% marks or alike grade. They must qualify in the written Test, KAVRAT, conducted by the university. Merit secured by the candidates in the test are considered for selecting the qualified candidates for admission to Ph.D courses.
