SKJ Law College Muzaffarpur was established in the year 1948 and is affiliated with Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. The college was started under the name of Late Dr. Sri Krishna Sinha, a brave freedom fighter and the first Chief Minister of Bihar after Independence. The SKJ Law College is recognised by the Bar Council of India, approved by UGC, and accredited by NAAC. The institute offers B.A.LL.B and LL.B at the UG level. Students can also pursue LL.M offered at the PG level.

*Candidates belonging to the OBC / SC / ST categories will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility requirement. In this case, the least qualifying marks required for the LL.M program will be 45%.
Admission Process
The SKJ Law College admission process for the B.A.LL.B and LL.B programs is completely based on the entrance test scores secured by the candidates. It is mandatory for all the students to take the entrance exam and secure valid marks. They are required to choose SKJ Law College as their first choice while filling up the online application form for the Bihar Law Common Entrance Test. Further, the institute will publish the merit list of the candidates who have qualified for the entrance exam in 2 rounds.
Once the students have cleared the SKJ Law College entrance exam, they will have to fill up the application form available on the official website of the institute. Further, the applicants have to bring their original documents as well as Xerox copies at the time of admission. All the documents and photographs must be self-attested. PG students who are willing to enrol in the LL.M program will also have to take the SKJ Law College entrance exam. The minimum qualifying marks for the entrance exam is 30% for the general category students, and 25% for SC / ST / OBC / EC / EWS candidates.
The admission process for the LL.M program is conducted both in online and offline mode. Candidates will have to submit their application form for the entrance test through online mode on the college’s official website. They will have to pay the requisite fees which are non-refundable. To apply through the offline mode, students can also visit the college campus during college hours which is from 10 am to 4 pm.

The SKJ Law College is spread across 6 acres of land in Gannipur, Muzaffarpur. The college is located 2 kms away from Muzaffarpur railway station and only a half km from Ram Dayalu Nagar railway station.
