SAL Institute of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad was established in the year 2009 as a Private Educational Institution. SAL Institute of Pharmacy Ahmedabad is approved by AICTE, and is affiliated with GTU, Ahmedabad. SAL Institute of Pharmacy offers admission in the field of Pharmacy at UG/ Doctorate level.
Adarsh Foundation founded SAL Institute of Pharmacy (SALIP). SALIP was established in 2009. It offers UG (B.Pharm) and PG (M.Pharm) programs to students. These programs are approved by AICTE and PCI. These programs are affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU).
Vision: SALIP works with a vision to excel in pharmaceutical education and research programs in order to produce dedicated pharmacists and health care professionals for welfare of society.
Mission: SALIP aims to achieve excellence in the field of pharmacy. It also aims to provide quality education to students in order to develop them as dedicated pharmacists who are capable of providing skilled and ethical patient care to local people.
UG programs are run under different departments that are Department of Pharmacy Practice, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Department of Pharmacognosy, Department of Pharmacology, and Department of Pharmaceutics.
Students who are seeking admissions in SALIP can apply online. Students must fill out all mandatory credentials carefully and upload scanned documents like photographs, score cards, signature, etc. Selection will be done on the basis of merit list. To get admissions students need to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by ACPC (Admission Committee).

SALIP has a Training and Placement Cell. The cell conducts aptitude test series, mock interviews, motivational lectures, industry talks, pre-placement programs, industrial visits, mock group discussions, skill improvement programs, etc. for overall personality development of students. It also provides internship opportunities to students. It also conducts a career counseling program for students.
