    How I Felt at NIT Durgapur
    CSE branch is very chill, and placement is also very good. Highest package is around 60 LPA and average package is around 25 LPA for CSE students and ECE students also Electrical branch is also very good. Lots of companies visited here like BPCL for electrical mainly. Metallurgical engineering is also chill branch- 90% placement.Read Full Review

    Life in NIT Durgapur
    In academics, the college lives up to its reputation and rank. The teachers are very interactive and knowledgeable about the subjects they are teaching, and they provide whatever things seems necessary to the students to get them prepared for the upcoming challenges they will be facing in the life whether it be academically or emotionally we don't lack any support in this field. I think some teachers are always unreasonable because they just feel like they are right, and we are wrong I am telling about my 5th semester Open Elective teacher PSB sir. He is very unreasonable because if you are absent in his last class for some reason like family or anything personal, he will make you stand at the back for the whole class and sometimes he will even kick you out of the class for this reason.Read Full Review

    Life in NIT Durgapur
    So, currently I am pursuing the bachelor's in technology degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Here one thing is good that the courses are designed in such a way that we can prepare for any competitive exam at our level. Also, NIT gives us opportunities to go outside like foreign universities for internship or to attend conferences.Read Full Review
