NIT Durgapur Faculty Profile

In NIT Durgapur, there are 25 to 30 teachers and professors. They are highly qualified. Almost all have done PhD in their domain. The professors explain every topic in such a manner that the topics can be visualized and easily understood. They prepare presentations and PPTs for making us understand the topics more clearly. All the faculty members are highly qualified and have different teaching skills. Most of the professors teach in a very concept based approach. Most of them provide the course PPT’s and other necessary study materials. The teacher student ratio is quite satisfactory and mostly the teachers are always available. All the teachers of my department are friendly and promote active participation of students while teaching. They are always available to answer student's queries through mail and also through meeting in their cabins.Read Full Review

From the Electronics and Communication Engineering department, I can assure that the professors are very helpful and supportive, asked any doubts will always be ready to help and guide for future. Any official work as well doesn't take much of your time, due to efficient management. Most of the teachers use blackboards while teaching but share the ppts as well after teaching. Several group discussions and ppt presentation are conducted to help students achieve good communication skills. Teacher student’s ratio is also good and all of them have huge knowledge in their respective course. I find the entire faculty very humble and supportive as mentioned and probably one the best departments in NIT Durgapur.Read Full Review
