Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University is a Central University which came into being with an act passed in the Parliament in 2013. The University was set up to promote aviation studies by providing diploma, under graduation, and post graduation level courses.
Vision: RGNAU’s vision is to stand out among top 200 aviation universities of the world within 20 years from its inception.
Mission: Its mission is to impart quality knowledge to achieve excellence and progress in the field of Aviation.
The courses run by RGNAU Amethi include Post Graduate Diploma in Airport Operations (PGDAO), Management Development Program (MDP), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Basic Fire Fighters Course (BFFC), and more.
Students are admitted to the university based on the marks scored by them in the qualifying exam followed by a written test and interview. In addition to it, the reservation policy of the Central Government is considered while selecting candidates for different courses. Students who meet the eligibility requirements of the particular courses can apply online for admission through the official website of the university.

RGNAU campus is located at Fursatganj Raebareli, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The Airport Authority of India has developed the infrastructure facilities in the campus. The Academic block of the university covers 12,750 square meters area and comprises of 10 smart class rooms, 08 faculty rooms, 02 seminar halls, administrative offices, board room, and more.
