The foundation of YBN University was laid down in Ranchi in the year 2017, offering multiple degree programs in different academic fields. The University is accredited and recognised by BCI, PCI, NCTE, INC, and UGC.

The Training and Placement Committee of YBN University has an objective of training and preparing students for corporate Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. The Guest Lectures are organised by inviting experienced professionals from different industries to develop the skill of strategic thinking in students. During training sessions, students are encouraged to take part in group discussions and resolve sample test papers. This helps them in enhancing their interactions, confidence, and skills to handle challenging situations in the corporate world. During the academic tenure, the university focuses on providing students with Personality Development Programs, Mock Interviews, CV Formation, Pre-Placement Counselling, Gap Identification, Live Projects, and Internships. The academic curriculum is well-structured where students have to undergo a Summer Internship of around 6-8 weeks with a leading company. This internship helps students enhance their abilities to evaluate, diagnose, and resolve issues. The University also has a Skill & Personal Development Cell and an Entrepreneurship Development Cell that contribute to the personal and professional growth of the students.
