Vidyasagar College For Women Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Kolkata

The college hostel is located near the college. Rooms are provided to the desired students. Mess food is average. Hygiene is not maintained. Most of students living in college hostel suffered from Dengue during the monsoon season in Kolkata.Read Full Review

The College hostel is situated in the original home of Pandit Iswarchandra Vidyasagar. There he took his last breath so it has a historical corner also. It is a three storied building with 42 seats available. It is located in 5 minute walking distance from the College. There students are provided with a standard size bed, bed sheet, a study table and a cupboards with separate washrooms. To an extend all the rooms are marbleized and well furnished.

There is also a dining hall and also a T.V room. The water supply is regular and refined and the quality of the food is very well. Veg and nonveg both types of foods are available. The monthly fee of the hostel is Rs. 5000. Twenty four hours CCTV surveillance and security guards are also available and the hostel warden is always there for maintenance.
