Malaviya National Institute of Technology [MNIT Jaipur] was established in the year 1963 as an Autonomous Educational Institution, currently having 82nd position in NIRF Ranking 2024. MNIT Jaipur is approved by MoE (MHRD) and AICTE. Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) which was established in 1963 has an objective of imparting knowledge in a manner so as to achieve fully satisfied students, parents and society. MNIT is recognised as an Institute of National Importance and is funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. MNIT is recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
Vision: MNIT envision being a center for imparting technical education complying with international standards so that learners can respond to the challenges of technological development.
Mission: The mission is to enhance technical manpower and help students deal with technological challenges and advancements. The emphasis is given on developing leadership qualities among students with a main focus towards social development as well.

The candidates must have qualifying marks in 10+2 to be eligible for admission in MNIT. The admissions for the Undergraduate Programs follow the procedure of JoSAA and CSAB counseling. Detailed information about eligibility and admissions can be gathered from the official website of MNIT.
A candidate must have a valid GATE score to be eligible for the Post Graduate programs. In Bachelors, a candidate is required to have minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates who desire to join these programs in MNIT can apply through Centralised Counseling for Admissions (CCMT).

The Training and Placement Cell (T&P) is mainly responsible for facilitating industrial training, and inviting reputed companies to conduct placements. The placements cell collaborates with reputed organisations to conduct campus interviews by providing global exposure to the students.
