Sant Baba Bhag Singh University’s Training & Placement Cell is a group of energetic and qualified individuals who collaborate to help students find employment through campus hiring. The Department invites prestigious corporations for campus placement in an effort to develop placement opportunities for qualified and deserving students. There have been a number of unique efforts, including Pre-Placement Training, Conferences, and Seminars. Knowledgeable staff tries to critically assess the market demands while staying in touch with the top business organisations.

Entrepreneurship: Starting one's own business can initially seem difficult. But there is good news for university students, as the university gives students access to the tools they need to succeed as an entrepreneur. TP Cell has signed MoU with GNDEC STEP under the program of SUCEED that is SBBS University Centre for Entrepreneurship Development.

Industrial Visits: The TP Cell occasionally arranges for student visits to businesses.

The primary goal of an industrial visit is to expose youngsters to the realities of the workplace. During a site visit, which is a part of their education, students attend businesses and gain knowledge about their internal working environment. Students are exposed to new technology through field trips. Visits to businesses expose students to the real-world difficulties that businesses must overcome. Six-month industrial training programme in a reputable industry is required.

Major recruiters at the campus are Wahid Sandhar Sugars Limited, Park Plaza Ludhiana, New Swan Group, Connect Broadband, Decathlon, and Field Fresh Foods Private Limited. Venky’s, India Mart, Wipro, Axis Bank, Infosys, Concentrix, JREW, touch stone, Oceana Tech, Think Next, and the knowledge academy also hired students time and again.

Sant Baba Bhag Singh University has excellent infrastructure and other facilities located on its campus. It features:

Computer Centre: In order to serve the needs of academics, staff, and students, it has a central computer centre. It has 450+ PCs that are fully equipped with the newest technology, including dual core and core 2 duos. Given that the area has good internet connectivity (100Mbps), it aids both faculty and students in their research work. The university's campus offers 24 hour access to WI-FI. The computer centre provides a variety of amenities, including a server room, a student service centre, and internet lab capabilities.

Library: The Central Library at SBBSU is an example of a dynamic and ever-evolving institution for technical learning. There are several e-books and more than 10K e-journals available across all topic areas. A sufficient number of print materials, including books, journals, periodicals, maps, and drawings, as well as non-print resources, including CDs, audio/ video collections, reports, and surveys, are available there. The KOHA LMS is used by the library system to manage all of the libraries' daily operations. For library inventory and material security, a barcode system is used.

E-Resources: Through J-Gate and National Digital Library, the library has subscriptions to electronic journals, electronic books, videos, theses, audio, and conference proceedings. The university participates in DELNET, and the library has a computer area. The computer division is used for all library tasks, including cataloguing books, creating databases with complete bibliographical information, and bar-coding books and there is also a digital portion with CDs of theses, reports, and dissertations. Additionally, it offers a reading area that is available from 9 AM to 9 PM. There are always library attendants in the reading room to help and support the student.

Hostel Facilities: Students have the option of living in the hostels or separate male and female residences. The hostels come with various conveniences as well as suitable modern furniture. There are also amenities for entertainment, indoor activities, guest house areas, water, 24/7 electricity, and medical services. Each and every hostel now has a clean, well-equipped kitchen for the use of the residents. Along with access to the gym, students also receive WI-FI access.

Sports: In order to develop a well-balanced personality, one must be physically healthy. All of us may have healthy, intelligent lives with a sound mind and body with the help of sports. Sports and games are given a lot of attention at SBBS, and the campus contains important facilities like a 400-meter track, a TT hall, a Football field, volleyball courts, and a Shooting range. Additionally, there are places for wrestling, Kabbaddi, Kho-Kho, and Kickboxing, as well as a Cricket field, Handball court, and BB court.

Clubs: Ultimate Computer Alliance is a club where every student can learn programming in accordance with their areas of interest thanks to the UCA club. They are given the opportunity to discover their interests and determine the best professional route as a result of this endeavour. RED-YELLOW-BLUE club helps in conducting extracurricular events to develop students' competitive skills. It conducts electrical exhibitions, workshops, quizzes, paper, and poster presentations, project experience, etc. NIRMAAN Club schedules weekly technical and literary dialogues and GD meetings every two weeks. It plans model-making activities, and organises a workshop on building bridges

Transportation & Medical Facilities: It has up to 51 buses that carry students to and from different parts of Jalandhar. To provide everyone on campus with first aid medical assistance, a central dispensary has also been built. In case of an emergency, staff and students can be transported in an ambulance that is also available on campus.

NCC & NSS: The NCC provides the perfect environment to urge young folks to enlist in the armed forces. They can enhance their performance, build morale, and increase productivity by being more motivated through NSS and NCC. Members of NSS also participate in mandatory village campaigns and perform community service there.
