Shri Vishwakarma Skill University has separate hostels for girls and boys with an accommodation capacity of around 490 students each. The boys hostel is known as Kailash Bhawan while the girls hostel is known as Himadri Bhawan. • All hostellers must mark their attendance by 8 PM either in the register or through biometric on a regular basis. Attendance timings for the girls hostel is from 7:30 PM to 8 PM.
• Residents willing to leave the hostel for more than one day must apply for a leave to the Warden in writing.
• Students are not allowed to cook in their hostel rooms.
• The University has a zero tolerance policy for gambling, smoking, use of alcohol, or drugs in any form. Moreover, this policy at SVSU hostel also applies to ragging.
• Strict action shall be taken against those who participate in gambling, bet, or political activities.
• Unauthorised use of appliances in the hostel will lead to a fine of Rs. 5,000/- and may also result in a cancellation of the room.
