Vidyalankar Polytechnic (VPT) was established in 2002. VPT has a Training and Placement Cell which works towards overall development of students in order to get them placed in their desired firms. It organises industrial visits, guest lectures, conferences, workshops, etc. for students. It provides various internship opportunities to students.
It has strong tie-ups with several corporations who visit the campus for recruiting students. Some of these corporations are Capgemini, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, CLP Infotech, Horizon Technologies, Pidilite, etc.
Apart from this, it has an Entrepreneurship Cell whose role is to encourages and guide those students who want to initiate their own start-ups as well as want to transform their innovative ideas into reality.
VPT, Mumbai has an excellent infrastructure. It has a lush green campus equipped with modern amenities. It covers an area of approximately 11 acres.
