Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College [DDUC], New Delhi was established in the year 1990 as a Public Educational Institution, currently having 26th position in NIRF Ranking 2024. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College - DDUC New Delhi was established in the year 1990 and is fully funded by the Government of NCT of Delhi. The College is providing undergraduate programs under the jurisdiction of the University of Delhi. It is approved by UGC.

The College offers undergraduate programs in different disciplines such as, Computer Science, Botany, Zoology, English, Commerce, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Management, Chemistry, and more. BA, B.Com, B.Sc, and Bachelor’s in Management Studies are the degrees provided by the college.
Admissions to the UG courses in the college are completely done online and based on the CUET scores. Applicants must hold Indian citizenship for CUET based admission. Merit of the students are calculated on the marks scored in combination of subjects in which an applicant has appeared in CUET. As per the guidelines of the university, there are no age restrictions for admission to UG programs. However, age restrictions apply to some programs where the regulatory authorities are AICTE, MCI, NCTE, DCI, and BCI.
The common eligibility criteria for admission to all undergraduate programs are clearing the Intermediate exam or its alike exam from a single board. But, in case, candidates passed subjects from more than one board, they can appear for CUET in the subjects they passed in 12th class.

Besides the minimum eligibility criteria, the reservation policy of the Government of India is followed while admitting students in the college. The following is the category wise seats reserved in the college:
The reservation criteria under supernumerary seats include the following categories: Kashmiri Migrants (5%), Children and widows of personnel of the Armed Forces (5%), Sports Quota, Extra-Curricular Activities, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Ward Quota of Employees of University of Delhi, Sikkim Nomination Scheme, Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme for Jammu and Kashmir, and Orphan Quota (Two candidates – 1 Male + 1 Female in each program).
The College students receive scholarships funded by government and non-government organisations both. The National Scholarships supported by the college are: Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students, Post Matric Scholarship for students with disabilities, and Post Matric Scholarship for students belonging to the Minority Communities. SC, ST, OBC, and Minority category students can also apply for scholarship from the State Government. The College also grants scholarships of its own to needy students. The eligibility criteria for availing the College Scholarships are categorised below:
Students must satisfy one of the above-mentioned criteria to apply for College Scholarships. Additionally, their attendance should be 75% or higher and they are not getting any scholarships from the Central Government, State Government, or any other statutory body.
In addition to the scholarships, the college provides fee concessions to the meritorious candidates and to those students whose parents cannot bear the education expenses.

The College Career and Placement Cell (CCPC) facilitates the recruitment process in the campus. It ensures that the recruitment process is smooth for both companies and students. CCPC assists students in pursuing their career goals and helps them acquire communication skills, problem solving outlook, and other skills required to seek employment.
In the past few years, active participation from companies has been seen in the placement sessions. Prominent recruiters of the college in the past are: Planetspark, Wipro, ICICI Prudential Life, DeltaX, Tresvista, Axis Bank, Genpact, TopHire, Willis Tower Watson, Index Capital, RNF Technologies, and more.
The new campus of the college was built on 7.7 acres land in Sector 3, Dwarka. A seven story building plus basement was constructed with various infrastructure facilities to support the modern day education requirements. Students are given lectures in air-conditioned and smart classrooms. A new skill development centre was opened in the college with 2 computer labs.
