In terms of academics our college is excellent for students. Talking about the eligibility criteria and requirements, as DDUC comes under Delhi University, so at my time of admission the cut offs released for different courses were based on the marks you get in class 12th and based on the eligibility you were provided the course. But now the admission process has changed and CUET has been introduced by Delhi University and for admission of students in the college you will be required to give an entrance exam and based on your merit you will be provided the college. I chose B. Sc honors Mathematics because I have a deep interest in math and in research field and will pursue Masters Degree in math after my graduation. It is a highly theoretical course in which you will learn about theorems and complex analysis that will go deep into math.Read Full Review

The academics of the college are nice, to be honest, not the best but not the worst as well. It’s above-average according to me. The college does offer a wide variety of courses from departments such as Computer Science, Management Studies, Commerce, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Physics, Botany, Mathematics and English. I studied in the Computer Science department. Studies are based on both practical as well as theoretical. The labs in every department are very good with all equipment being provided. As of personal experience, the labs of the Computer Science department have top-end computers with high-end configurations that were quite intuitive to work on. The Labs are quite huge that are fully air-conditioned as well.

The teachers do provide regular assignments, and marks are based on their submission times. The exams were conducted in two parts- first the mid-semester exams which are held after the mid-sem break and secondly the end semester exams which had separate practical. Some of the teachers were very interactive and fun-loving but some of them just focused on studies. One thing that just stands out is that the fees of the courses are not that much. Being a government-funded college, the fees are less compared to other colleges. Overall, the academics of the college are a mixed-bag with some positive sides and some a bit negative sides.Read Full Review
