    NIT Rourkela: True Beauty Lies Inside
    I am enrolled in the Electrical Engineering department of the institute. My department is considered as the toughest branch of Engineering and it requires regular studies. For this, we need to give the Joint Entrance Examination and secure a ninety percentile or above to get a seat. To be eligible for this exam, we need to secure a 75% or above marks in boards exam. To clear this exam, it requires a lot of hard work which makes us capable to handle pressure and to solve big problems in our life also. The motive is to get a good placement by maintaining a good CGPA.Read Full Review

    Comprehensive Review of National Institute of Technology, Rourkela
    NIT Rourkela has various programs to offer like B.Tech, M.Tech. Dual Degree, B.Arch, Integrated M.Sc, MBA, and Ph.D across various disciplines. The admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, Integrated M.Sc, and Dual Degree is based on JEE rank followed by JOSAA counseling. Admission to M.Tech is based on the GATE exam followed by CCMT counseling. Admission to 2 year M.Sc is based on JAM followed by CCMN counseling. For MBA it is done through CAT. Ph.D is based on an internal selection procedure. For engineering, there are 13 departments like Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Biotechnology, Mechanical, etc.Read Full Review

    Overview of National Institute of Technology, Rourkela
    Academics here are more than decent. The institute provides good faculty but as usual, there are some exceptions. There is a credit based system with central evaluation of answer sheets in exams. The entry is through JEE Mains. I am pursuing electronics and communication engineering as I had particular interest in it.Read Full Review
