This institute is surrounded by trees, mountains, and pond. There is good infrastructure in our institute. Our institute has all the facilities in the premises for the benefits of students. There are good roads, playgrounds, and a swimming pool.

The campus has well-equipped academic buildings with modern classrooms, seminar halls, and advanced laboratories for hands-on learning. Each department boasts state-of-the-art facilities for research and experimentation. The Biju Patnaik Central Library is a hub of knowledge, with over 70,000 books, journals and digital resources, alongside a comfortable study environment. High speed internet is available across the campus. The computer center is equipped with modern hardware and software for research and academic purposes. NIT Rourkela has also special grounds for Hockey, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Tennis, Athletics etc. It has a special Student Activity Centre (SAC) that hosts various cultural and extracurricular activities along with spaces for clubs.

In NIT Rourkela, Students experience an unforgettable campus life. It organises many fests like Cosmopolitan, Innovation, Nitrutsav, Roots etc. As for the clubs, there are four societies which are technical society, literary and Cultural society, film and Music Society and Games and Sports society. The campus’s academic block is well maintained. The structure is very modern structure. The campus size is around 1,200 acres and it is located in sector-1 Rourkela. The seating capacity of room is around 160-200 students. The central library is very beautiful and the additional facilities provided by the Institute include 2 storage libraries, auditorium, that is quite big and all the function happens here. Furthermore all equipment are available for the respective sports and there is a health center inside the college and I feel that transportation facility is mediocre.

Till now I have a very chill, pleasant life. There are many clubs and each student has interest in respective field. You can find the clubs regarding it. There are around 6k students pursuing other courses like B.Tech, MBA, PhD, etc. There are multiple coding clubs and the Nitrutsav is the biggest fest of the college where famous singers are invited to perform.Read Full Review
