Patliputra University

Patliputra University was formed following an act passed by the Government of Bihar on 09/04/2018. The University has its jurisdiction over Patna and Nalanda districts. All the colleges except those coming under the jurisdiction of Patna University are attached to the Patliputra University. The university headquarter is on Old bypass road, Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar, India. It is approved by UGC with a “State University” status.

Vision: The University was set up with a vision of creating human professionals with high moral values to meet the global needs and social standards to serve the society.

Mission: Its mission is to develop an academic curriculum that includes modern teaching and learning techniques, high-tech research in the fields of engineering, humanities, social sciences, sciences, and health sciences.

The University is providing UG, PG, degrees along with Vocational, and One year programs courses. BA, B.Sc, BBA, BBM, BCA, B.Com (Hons), M.A, M.Sc, MBA, MCA, LSW are few of the degrees given by the university in the colleges coming under its jurisdiction.

Admissions to the university are on the basis of merit scored in the qualifying exam, entrance exam conducted at university, state, or national level, and by following the reservation criteria of the Government of Bihar. Students can apply for admission by filling the online application form available on the official website of the university.
