Capital University, Kodarma established in 2018 is a Private University. Capital University Kodarma is approved by AICTE, ICAR and UGC. Admission in Capital University is offered in Engineering, Management and Humanities at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Doctorate level.
The non-profit global University, Capital University Kodarma, came into existence following the passing of Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 in 2018 declaring the university as a State University. The University was established by the Government of Jharkhand as a philanthropic initiative by the Centre for CSR & Sustainability Excellence (CCSE) Society. It is approved by UGC and AICTE and is recognised by BCI, ICAR, Ministry of Railway, and Government of Jharkhand.
Vision: Capital University works with a vision of bringing about difference in the society by disseminating high scientific and moral based research.
Mission: The State University aims to advance education in Science and Technology to achieve international recognition. It promotes research in an effective way enabling fulfillment of society’s requirement and enhance collaborations between academics, industries, and research organisations globally.

Admissions to the university are on merit and based on marks scored in entrance exam for most of the courses. The admission process is transparent and is uniform. The University is surrounded by hills in an eco-friendly environment covering an area of 32 acres of land. The infrastructure of the university was built in a way to maintain the ecological balance with special attention given to the flora and fauna of the area. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with high speed internet connectivity to access e-learning resources any time anywhere. Modern Classrooms were built within the campus to enhance the overall learning experience of the students. There is a Library functioning at the university premise enriched with a wide collection of books, journals, and other learning resources. Computer labs are typically provided by libraries to access a wide range of software tools and other related things.
Besides the academic facilities the University campus area has developed all the facilities necessary for students’ comfortable stay. Hostel, Clinic, Cafe, and Sports facilities are available for the recreation of the students.
