Smt Shanti Devi Law College

The college provides a variety of facilities to increase the knowledge of their students and help them gain experience from their theory. Facilities like classrooms, a library filled with books, a computer lab for research and online resources, a moot court to practice like a real court, and a seminar hall for events.

• Library: The college library is large, tidy, and well-organised. It has over 4,000 high-quality books, along with a number of journals, magazines, and reports. It also has subscriptions to A.I.R. There’s enough space for more than 60 students to sit and read at the same time.
• Computer Lab: The college has an impressive computer lab equipped with UPS backup. A highly trained staff member is available to teach students how to use computers for law. It has an AIR CD ROM that includes Supreme court judgements from 1950 to 2010, as well as high court and criminal law judgements up to the present. Students can also access the online database.
• Moot court: Moot court activities are a key focus at Smt Shanti Devi Law College. The college aims to combine theory and practice of law by conducting regular, monthly, and mandatory moot preparations, guiding students from preparation to presentation. Mooting is taken seriously here, with several teams of students competing against each other to master the finer details of the law.
• Seminar hall: The Smt Shanti Devi Law College features a well-furnished seminar hall with a seating capacity of over 100 students. It is fully equipped to host national and state-level seminars, conferences, workshops and guest lectures.
