DPG Degree College Gurgaon is located in the state of Haryana which gives a magnificent learning environment to the students. The college was set up in 2015 with the purpose to impart higher and vocational education to the people of Gurgaon and nearby areas. The college is an approved college by UGC and it is affiliated with MDU, Rohtak.

This College offers a number of degrees in arts, science, and commerce and other streams. The college has a bachelor course in Travel and Tourism, Journalism and mass communication, and a library degree. It has BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, and an advanced post-grad diploma in computer applications. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Science (honors) in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. The college is counted as the best in the arts streams with a specialty in the subjects like Economics, History, Geography, and Political Science. Students have to study Hindi and English as compulsory subjects during their graduate programs. The college has an admission committee that deals with the admission and scholarship process of students. The other committees are academic, cultural, alumni, examination, women's cell, etc. The college has a well-experienced associate and assistant professors to impart higher education. DPG Group is also organizing an International Short Film Fest 2022 to boost the filmmaking art of the students.

DPG Degree College Gurgaon takes students based on their different eligibility criteria. To pursue a degree in B.Sc (Medical & Non-Medical), candidates should have at least 45% aggregate in their 12th board exams. The compulsory subjects that they have to study during the course are English, Botany and Zoology and nonmedical students have to study PCM subjects. The same criteria are for BSc computer science students. For MSc courses, the minimum criteria are a 50% score for a graduation degree. To take admission in the B.Com and BA courses, students have at least 40% & 35% in their streams at 12th standard. For other courses like MA, M.Com, BTTM, BJMC, B.Lib, and M.Lib a student needs to have a 45% total in the last qualification they did.

To take admission to the college students have to go to the website of the college and fill out the form and after that college decides whether a student will get admission or not. The admission documents that a student has to submit are as follows:

DPG Degree College Gurgaon thinks that it’s a social responsibility to help and it works for the welfare of students who are meritorious but deprived of money. The college gives 5000 INR to students who have got 1st rank in the class in their degree. For 2nd and 3rd rank students, there is a provision of 3000 INR & 2000 INR respectively.

The college also gives scholarships to the students who were able to secure rankings at the university level. If any student manages to secure a rank up to 30 at the university level, he /she will be getting financial assistance of 10000 INR. 8000 INR assistance is given to students whose ranks are from 31 to 50 and 5000 INR shall be given to the students if they manage a rank between the range of 51 and above.

The following conditions need to be fulfilled by the candidates if they want to get the benefits of these scholarships:

●     75% attendance is mandatory for getting the scholarship benefits. 
●     No disciplinary action against the student.
●     The student can only take the benefit of one scholarship at a time.
●     If any student is withdrawing the admission, the scholarship amount has to be returned back.
