GMINYS offers an undergraduate program in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.
Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences is a five and a half year course in the Medical field. This degree is par with BAMS, MBBS, BUMS, BHMS, and BSMS. This course exists for more than twenty-five years in India. The program has received class ‘A’ registration being a valid medical degree in the field of Naturopathy and legal Sciences.
All over the country, approximately three thousand BNYS degree holders are ranging from a Research scientist in this field to Naturopathy Physicians. The well-structured course imparts in-depth knowledge in the subjects that are related to human health and illness along with practical treatment methods of Yoga and Nature cure therapies. Naturopathy and Yoga give permanent/Long term solutions to the health issues. The natural therapies used in the treatment of diseases are diet therapy, Fasting therapy, Yoga therapy, Lifestyle counseling, Hydrotherapy, Massage Therapy, Acupressure, Acupuncture, Prayer, Bhajans Reiki, Pranic Healing, Chromo and magnetotherapy, etc.
Candidates with a minimum of 10+2 from a recognized board in Science stream i.e., Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics as the compulsory subjects are eligible to apply.
