There are total 4 courses in UIET. Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Biotechnology. The curriculum of 1st year is almost same for every branch, but from 2nd year onwards you've to study branch specific topics. You must need a good JEE Mains rank for CSE and IT branch, but with decent rank like above 60k you'll get ECE and all the other ones. I'll prefer to go till ECE only.Read Full Review

Admissions for UIET are done on basis of JEE mains score. Thus generally toppers only enter the college. There are six branches (CSE, ECE. EEE, IT, M.Tech, Biotech) with 120 students each further divided in two sections. The teacher -student ratio is about 1:60. The teachers are approachable and knowledgeable.Read Full Review
