UIET Chandigarh Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

This institute has a decent infrastructure. It is majorly divided into 2 blocks, Block 1 and Block 2. Also, there are workshops, canteens, and tuck shops. Lecture halls are fine. Block 1 which is for 2nd to 4th year students has got ACs in lecture halls and labs. There are few lecture hall turned seminar halls for special occasions. There is projector in many lecture halls. It has its own library. If you are taking mechanical branch, then you should know that it has got good labs and knowledgeable staff. It also has 5 CAD labs.

College life here is very good as compared to other colleges as it is situated in Chandigarh which will offer all kinds of amenities. There is no academic pressure from college ruining your personal time. The institute has various clubs from Literature, Drama, Robotics, Gaming, Dance, Music, Programming, Moto Sports, Marketing, etc. These clubs and committees help a great deal in your personal learning and experience.Read Full Review

There are total 3 academic blocks in the institute, a canteen, a tuck shop and a small Nescafe café where mostly students gather around and enjoy their time with companions. Classrooms of IT, CSE and labs have Air Conditioners (Block 1) but block 2 is non-AC. You'll get your 1st year classes in block 2 but then from 2nd year and onwards you'll have your classes in block 1. The lab and workshops are rich with equipment, and every student can perform their lab work without any interference.

The campus life is decent. There are total two mega events / fest in the institute. The official fest is ‘Goonj’ which is held around March-April, and there is ‘Legacy’ which is held around October end. The fests are good and enjoyable.Read Full Review

There are majorly 3 blocks in UIET. Each branch has a dedicated floor. There are plenty of lecture halls, classrooms and labs. Every floor has washroom and drinking water facilities. Library, seminar hall and canteen are also there for students. The library has reading room facilities. There are multiple grounds are sports activities.

The campus life at UIET is really amazing. It has 20+ clubs and societies like Training and Placement Cell, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Alumni Relations Cell, Brand Promotion Committee, Photography Club, Music Club, Bhangra Crew, Debating Society, Western Dance Crew, Comic Club, IEEE, SAE , SBE, Art Club, Literary Club, Mental Health Club and Robotics Club etc. The annual techno-cultural fest called “Goonj” occurs in March every year. Other events like UIETMUN, IZAAD and Legacy also occur.
