University of Lucknow B.Com Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process, Lucknow

Talking about my course Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), its competitive here. People from multiple cities across Uttar Pradesh come to give the Entrance Examination. Total number of seats is 700. 450 for regular and 250 for self-finance. Eligibility is that the students must have passed intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination or Polytechnic Diploma with Mathematics or Economics as one of the optional subjects of study. At least 40% marks for General Category and Other Backward Classes and 33% marks for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. My motive for enrolling in this program was to focus on other activities while doing my B.Com since there no compulsion for attendance as such. Only if you want Scholarship then only you are required to have 75% attendance. Even the fees are very low as compared to others; Rs. 3527/- for regular and Rs. 15,330/- for self-finance courses. Even many need-based scholarships are also offered here.

Lucknow University offers around 160+ course for all type of fields. The basic requirement for under-graduate course is 10+2 with the specific science, commerce or arts. With commerce background you can opt for various courses like B.Com, B.Com (hons.), LL.B, BBA, and BA too. The admission is conducted through an entrance test and the result is announced as merit basis and then counselling is done.

I pursued B.Com. (NEP) from Lucknow University. For the admission I have given an entrance test include 100 questions, 2 marks each and there will be no negative marking. The questions mainly came from class 11th and 12th syllabus mainly from the subject accounts, economics, maths, and computer. The eligibility for B.Com. (NEP) is only 12th pass. It’s a graduation degree of 4 year or 3 year as per the choice of students. In each year there will be 2 semester. The examination of odd semester i.e. 1, 3, and 5 will be theoretical examination means written examination whereas the even semester i.e. 2, 4, and 6 examinations will be MCQ based. The question paper includes 100 questions and the student has to answer 75 questions. There will be no negative marking in the papers. And there is internal examination of 25 marks which includes 10 marks assignment, 10 marks presentation, and 5 marks for attendance. I have done my schooling from commerce stream and then I wanted to do graduation so I chose B.Com.
