The campus’ infrastructure is pretty good and is of old nawab times as if you are visiting a monument. It is green and beautiful as well. Campus is very clean and dirt free. No smoking or drinking is allowed inside the campus. Campus is quite big, and one might get tired of walking but it's worth it. Many libraries are there including a cyber library.

Lot of communities and clubs are present here. You can for NGO's as well. You don't even have to struggle for getting opportunities here. You yourself will get invited to join the programs. The University of Lucknow was established in 1921 and it has achieved glory of more than 100 years. The campus building gives historical monuments vibes as the academic blocks and the department seem very old. The infrastructure needs modernization with the latest use of technology. However, some faculty/department does offer smart classrooms and other facilities but few classrooms require basics maintenance and renovation.

The college itself doesn't organize large number of events, Only seminars are organized for the day scholars. For hostellers, activities such as Holi fest, Navratri nights and cultural competitions are organized. The Surabhi Sanskriti event is the famous fest that happened last year. Recently, a literature fest was organized along with DJ night that created a hope for many more beautiful events to be organized for the students. Sports activities like Cricket, Basketball, Racing events are organized annually during pre-convocation events. Lucknow University holds down a legacy of more than 100 years so it has very old buildings which require to be renovated and some department’s classrooms needs to be improved. As the campus is huge due to which you'll have to walk a lot to reach different faculties and departments. There is a parking space available for vehicles. Playgrounds and gardens are also there for students to explore.

The campus life is filled with adventures and new experiences. There are pre convocation events held annually which include sporting activities and other competitions for day scholars and hostellers separately. The events are cricket, basketball, racing, speeches, debate, art, singing and dance competitions. There are seminars that are held very often in different departments.Read Full Review
