    My Thoughts on Presidency University, Kolkata
    The course is highly subject centric. Overall, one would develop an excellent in-depth understanding of the subject. The university conducts PUBDET (Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test) every year whose forms are generally released in March, and the exam is conducted in the month of July. The minimum eligibility in this exam is to achieve at least 70% aggregates (Maths/Statistics in the best 4 subjects) and at least 80% in Maths or Statistics. The syllabus for PUBDET is the standard NCERT syllabus of 10+2 of PCM stream.Read Full Review

    Review of Presidency University, Kolkata
    I am a B.Sc Statistics Hons. Student. Currently this is a four year program as per the new system. The entry in the course depends on the results of the PUBDET examination organised after the 12th boards exam. One needs to have Mathematics and English as his/her main subject in the class 12 in order to be eligible to apply for this course.Read Full Review

    History of the Presidency University will enthrall you
    The cut-off in our days was 96% and even though the students have increased the cut-off for BSC (Hons) is still near that. Only the top students have the opportunity to be a part of this prestigious college, of course, a University now has a lot more to offer than the other colleges in the city. In our days, we never used to have practical exams as only Vivas were there. Things have changed drastically and due to my niece, I have kept a check on the course and can say that the University has walked a mile extra to make sure that students get the best and required knowledge from the University.Read Full Review
