My Thoughts on Presidency University, Kolkata

The course is highly subject centric. Overall, one would develop an excellent in-depth understanding of the subject. The university conducts PUBDET (Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test) every year whose forms are generally released in March, and the exam is conducted in the month of July. The minimum eligibility in this exam is to achieve at least 70% aggregates (Maths/Statistics in the best 4 subjects) and at least 80% in Maths or Statistics. The syllabus for PUBDET is the standard NCERT syllabus of 10+2 of PCM stream.Read Full Review

Presidency University Kolkata campus life is friendly

I have taken Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. This is an enriching course for those who want to remain in the academic field in the future. I joined this university in the year 2022. At that time there were no entrance exams being held. But since 2023, exams are to be given for admission. I have heard about Sociology being a really good subject and that this university will not fall in this stream. Therefore, I enrolled in this program.Read Full Review

An overview of Presidency University

Academics are the main thing here. A student who passes his +12 has to appear in the Entrance Exam held by WBJEE board. The University is famous among all other because of its continuity what it is doing from many years. Each subject and course has adequate professors who guide the students very well. A student who passes its graduation from here can get selected for the Masters due to Home quota if he does well in his academic.Read Full Review
