D.N.R. College of Law came into existence in 1989. The institute has been affiliated to the Adikavi Nannaya University and has been given approval by the BCI. The college provides law courses at undergraduate level.

The D.N.R. College of Law has provided scholarships to SC/ST, and OBC students according to the Norms of Social Welfare Department under convenor quota. For students under management quota, no scholarship are made available for them.
