A number of institutions under the aegis of RKDF University offers a string of B.E. programs, including the BE (electrical & electronic engineering) course. This undergraduate engineering program is a 4-year, fulltime course that allows students to specialize in electrical and electronics engineering. In order to qualify for the program, a candidate needs to clear the final 10+2 examination with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects.
The students also need to pass any one subject out of the following including chemistry, biotechnology or any other vocational or technical subject. BE (electrical and electronics engineering) students have to complete specific subjects (that is common to all other BE programs) in their first and second semesters. In the last two semesters, the learners pick up knowledge on subjects and topics exclusively related to their branch of specialization.
Some of the subjects in the first two semesters include engineering chemistry, engineering mathematics, English, basic electrical & electronics engineering, engineering graphics & design, basic mechanical engineering, and so on. And in the 3rd and 4th semesters, students receive instructions on circuit theory, instrumentation and measurement, electromagnetic theory, value education, engineering mathematics, and the like.
Several institutes, including the Vedica College of Pharmacy, Sri Satya Sai Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Dr. Satyendra Kumar Memorial College of Pharmacy (all are associate colleges of RKDF University) offer the Bachelor of Pharmacy program. The B. Pharmacy course is a fulltime, on-campus program having a study period of two years. Any candidate who has passed the higher secondary examination with chemistry and physics as compulsory subjects can apply to this undergraduate program in pharmacy.
Moreover, the applicant also has to clear anyone subject out of biotechnology, mathematics or any other technical/vocational subject to qualify for this course. Also, the student should have scored minimum 45% marks in aggregate to be finally considered for admission. The B. Pharm course intends to equip students with the knowledge and skills to serve as a pharmacy professional in a hospital, community health center, and pharmaceutical company or in a R&D center.
The B. Pharm course curriculum encompasses myriad aspects of healthcare that basically entails the formulations of medicines and drugs for treating various diseases and disorders. Some of the topics and subjects that students pick up knowledge on include medicinal formulations, pharmacy management, kinetics, biochemistry, chemistry, and pharmacology.
The Faculty of Social Science, under RKDF University registers students for the three-year BSW program, a fulltime on-campus course. Any student who wants to pursue this undergraduate course in social work has to pass the 10 +2 exam (any stream) from a recognized state or central education board. This program has been designed for students who wish to carve a career by catering to the interests of the marginalized sections of the society.
Once a student completes the BSW program, he or she’ll be able to find a job in a NGO or social service or developmental agency either in the public or private sector. The course syllabus comprises of components that enable the student to imbibe professional skills and acquire the capacity to help the poor and needy to resolve their economic and social problems.
The Faculty of Law affiliated to RKDF University enlists students for the 5-year integrated B. A. LLB. Program. Any student who has cleared his or her 10+2 examination (any stream) can apply to this undergraduate program in law. Additionally, the applicant will have to secure at least 45% marks in aggregate to improve his or her chances of securing a seat.
During the course of study, the students gain knowledge on a range of subjects related to humanities and law including but not limited to economics, political science, sociology, labor law, criminal law, and corporate law.
