Admission Procedure for Engineering
Directorate of Technical Education, Bhopal conducts online counselling for the admission procedure of Sagar Group of Institutions. The eligibility criteria of different courses offered by the institute will be considered as per the rules set by the DTE and the Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal. However, for the sponsored seats in M.Tech programs, the admissions will be held at the institute level as informed by the DTE.
The minimum eligibility criterion that an applicant must fulfil is mentioned below:
For MP Applicants
Applicants from Madhya Pradesh must pass the 12th examinations with a minimum of 45% scores (40% for SC / ST) with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with Biotechnology / Mathematics / Biology as one of the optional subjects from the MP board or any other board.
For Other States Applicants
Applicants from other states must pass 12th with a minimum of 45% scores with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with Biotechnology / Mathematics / Biology as one of the optional subjects from any recognised boards.
After passing the exams, applicants are required to undergo an online counselling procedure that consists of 5 levels:
