Candidates who are willing to make a career in the field of hotel management should appear in the entrance exam organized by the institute itself. Admission is done strictly on the merit basis. For degree courses candidate has to clear entrance exam followed by personal interview. Scores of state level and national level exam shall be considered. Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary Examination with English as core, elective or functional subject are eligible for applying.

Students who are appearing for Senior Secondary examination can also apply for the entrance test. These candidates will be admitted on a provisional basis, and after submitting proof of passing a qualifying examination, admission will be made permanent. If a candidate fails to submit proof of passing qualifying examination at the time of counseling or admission then his/her admission will be canceled. 

Students who have appeared in the Higher Secondary examination can apply for Diploma courses. After document verification and other formalities students are admitted for a particular course in the institute.
