Ghatal Rabindra Satabarsiki MahaVidyalaya (GRSM) was established in 1961. It provides UG and PG courses to students. These are approved by UGC, accredited by NAAC, and affiliated with Vidyasagar University.
Vision: College works with a vision to emerge as a center of excellence by providing higher education and producing quality human resources. It delivers quality, value based education to students in order to develop them as independent, successful, honest, and committed individuals.
Mission: College aims to promote analytical research in the field of humanities and social sciences. It also strives to develop knowledge of arts, science, and other disciplinary courses. It also provides qualitative higher education to students in order to develop their skills, to develop general environmental awareness among them, and to develop them as socially responsible citizens.
Students who are seeking admissions in GRSM can fill out their applications online. Students need to register themselves first through the given registration link on website. Students must fill out all necessary details carefully and upload all the required documents before submission of application. There are certain eligibility criteria for students that must be fulfilled for admissions in GRSM:
For UG Admissions: Should have passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate.
For PG Admissions: Should have Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.

GRSM awards scholarships to students in order to assist them economically. It grants monetary benefits to students who are eligible for availing scholarships.
