Godhra is known for many wrong reasons but there lies a serene university in Shri Govind Guru University. The University has many institutions under its belt that function in different streams. Shri Govind Guru University Godhra was incepted in 2015, and the present Chairman and the Vice Chancellor post of the university is held by Prof. Pratap Singh Chauhan. Shri Govind Guru University Godhra offer courses in various streams such as Para Medical, Law, Homeopathy, Science, Commerce, Arts and Nursing. The university is in the main city as RTO is right next to the university and from the railway station, it’s just 3 miles away.

The university is huge as it is spread over 43 acres of vast land fields. There are over 200 colleges under the university all located in nearby districts of Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhota Udaipur, and Mahisagar. Shri Guru Gobind Singh University admissions are done through state counseling or one can try by visiting the respective colleges of the university. The university is relatively new but the norms and strictness that it follows aren’t new to any university. The exam timetable is the same for respective courses and papers are checked by unknown authorities so any mishap in this regard is not possible.
