The admission to both BA LLB and BBA LLB is through an entrance exam named SLAT. This exam is held in three rounds. First round is an MCQ paper like CLAT but no negative marks. The second round is an essay writing paper. The third round is interview. The course introduces law subjects in the very first year which in my opinion is a very advantageous aspect for the students. For entering into any course in Symbiosis Law School students need to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test and in case of law it is called Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SLAT). After appearing in the test students need to appear for the personal interviews. If a person clears the exam and interview, he/she is provided with the admission letter. In specific courses like B.A. and LLB students are required to score higher in the test. The course includes subjects from Humanities/Arts such as English, History, Sociology, etc. This college promotes studying foreign languages such as German, French and Spanish for one year (2 terms). Students are required to select any one of language of their choice to study. The LLB course include comprehensive subjects ranging from Contract Law, Torts, Criminal Law, Civil Law, International Law, IPR, Banking Law, Insurance Law, Competition Law, etc. The range is very wide and provides students with a great amount of knowledge to excel in their career afterwards.
