GIET Degree College, Rajahmundry was established in the year 2017 as a Private (Autonomous) Educational Institution. GIET Degree College Rajahmundry is approved by AICTE, accredited by NBA, and is affiliated with Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry. GIET Degree College offers admission in the field of Management, Science and Computer Applications at UG level. Dr. KVV Satyanarayana Raju is the Founder Chairman.
GIET Degree College, situated in Rajahmundhry, Andhra Pradesh was established back in 2017. It is a private college. GIET is affiliated with the Adikavi Nannaya University and approved by the APSCHE. The campus is spread over a large piece of land in the suburbs of Rajahmundhry on the NH-16 highway. Providing the students with dynamic education is the motto of the institute.
GIET offers only undergraduate programs in the streams of Humanities, Management, Sciences, and Commerce. There are 4 departments at the institute to provide with a choice of subjects for the students to pursue their majors. They are namely, Humanities and Basic Sciences, Forensic Science, Commerce & Management, and Computer Sciences. The institute aims to become a pioneering figure in providing holistic development of the students by providing an innovative and supportive environment for the students to learn. The Training & Placement Cell at the GIET Degree College is well-organized and fully established for the benefit of students seeking jobs just after their graduation. The placement cell of the college is one of the main parts of the college working tirelessly to provide with the best placement opportunities for the students. The cell works in a professional way by providing the companies with the virtual data of the job applicants they are to expect at the college.
GIET has in-house training facilities and outer organizations for the students to develop their soft skills, aptitude, and verbal as well as logical reasoning. Various guest lectures and seminars are organized by the cell for the communication skills enhancement and personality development of the students. The placement cell of the GIET institute even arranges for mock interviews for the students so that they get to build the confidence required to actually face the recruiters for the placements.
GIET campus is spread over an area of 300 acres and GIET Degree College and part of this campus has a three-storied building for the academic section of the college.
Library: The library at the institute constitutes of more than 1900 books. The college also has a digital library through which the faculties and students get access to numerous books by using any of the smart devices.
Hostels: The hostels at the campus are fully facilitated, with an attached balcony in each room. Security at the college is taken care of and the hostel premises are under CCTV surveillance. Dining facilities are also available for the hostellers at the campus.
Medical Aid: Medical facilities are available at the campus for the students; a 24*7 pharmacist is always present to attend to the medical needs of the students.
Transportation: Buses for various routes to the city are allocated. Transportation to the college is available from all the parts of the city for the day scholars. And the safety of the students is taken care of by the higher authorities through regular surveys.
ATM is also installed inside the campus so that the students can have easy access to banking services. There are various clubs in the college where the students can join and develop their hobbies as well as skills, the clubs are namely, Arts club, Eco club, Academic, English, and Theatre’s club.
