    Life at IIT, Ropar
    There shouldn't be a doubt about academics in an IIT. You don't have to focus more here on the academics. All the faculties and facilities are top-notch. Being a new IIT the faculties are a little younger than the other old IITs. And the faculty ratio here is around 1:9. There are labs, experiment, and workshops at regular interval, so that students get real time experience about the practical world.Read Full Review

    Life in IIT ROPAR
    The course which I have chosen is B.Tech because I have just passed 12th class and however there is a lot of programs after 12th but I chose B.Tech because in it there is a lot of knowledge that we get in it in different fields .the entry requirements are that we have to pass JEE mains and then JEE advance then we have to appear in the JOSAA counseling and then our turn comes in this institute and we get this college. My motive for enrolling in this program is that in the age of about 22-25 years we get eligible for working in any big companies and we get job, placements offer in different companies.Read Full Review

    My views on IITs
    In 1st year all the students have to study some common subjects like English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical and introduction to computing. For getting entry you have to score decent marks in JEE Advanced. Eligibility criteria for all the subjects is 75% attendance and score good grades and also grading system is relative and decided by marks of topper and the lowest marks.Read Full Review
