Vishwakarma University, Pune was established as a branch of the Vishwakarma Group of Institutions in the year 2017 as a State Private University for higher education in the fields of architecture, art & design, pharmacy, commerce & management, law, humanities & social sciences, media & communication, and science & technology. It has been given the approval to distribute grants and award degree by the UGC, AICTE, and BCI. It also has a membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
The university practices a “learning by doing” approach with the help of industry training to help its students learn and outshine in their respective fields of specialization.
