KL University’s ‘College of Engineering’ offers a string of B. Tech courses with specialization in biotech, mechanical, electrical and electronics, and civil engineering. A student can also opt to specialize in electronics and computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and computer science and engineering. All B. Tech programs are full-time courses, having 4-year duration, and approved by AICTE.
A good number of students opt for the University’s B. Tech (CSE) program owing to its industry-oriented curriculum. Students imbibe knowledge on a wide variety of subjects like data analytics, web technologies, software engineering, e-commerce, and embedded systems.
The learners also receive a solid grounding on hands-on-training. Once the students complete this undergraduate program and receive their degree, they’re ready to work in the engineering and computer applications industries.
Students who have cleared their 10 +2 with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as mandatory subjects can apply for this course. Also, they’ll need to have a minimum aggregate score of 60%. The students will also have to clear the JEE-Main/JEE-Advanced/KLEE or any equivalent state level entrance exam for guaranteed admission.
The Bachelor of Architecture program has a five-year academic schedule, and the syllabus has the approval of the Council of Architecture. During their course of study, students gain theoretical knowledge about architecture, sciences, and humanities as well as apply the same practically. They come to pick up concepts about architectural design and architectural elements.
The curriculum of the undergraduate architecture program imparts the students with the ability to accomplish design solutions. Some of the topics covered include architectural theory, mathematics, basic design, architectural drawing, building construction, mechanics of structures, and so on.
The eligible candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized state or central education board with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Students with a 10 +3 diploma in any stream with 50% aggregate marks can also apply. However, for securing a seat, students will have to clear NATA/JEE (Main) B. Arch conducted by COA and CBSE respectively.
The Department of Computer Applications enrolls students for the 3-year BCA course. Students opting for this undergraduate program have the option to specialize in data science, internet of things, artificial intelligence, and process automation or cloud technology or information security.
By following the program, students develop topnotch computing skills that are in sync industry requirements, both nationally and globally. After completing BCA, students learn how to develop and use cloud software, infrastructure services, forensic security technologies, and much more.
To apply to the program, the student has to clear the 10+2 in the pure science stream. Also, the candidate needs to score at least 45% in aggregate and clear any national level computer applications exam or the eligibility test conducted by KLU.
The KLU College of Law founded in the academic year 2015-2016 takes in students for the above undergraduate law program. The BBA LLB program has an academic schedule of five years, and the course has the recognition of the Bar Council of India. Students who choose this course come to have a fair understanding of legal processes, jurisprudence, and the prevailing legal system.
The different subjects included in the syllabus of BBA. LLB inculcates students to develop a passion for law. The students are instilled with creativity to pursue a legal career passionately and attain leadership qualities for successfully practicing as a legal professional. Some of the subjects included in the curriculum are corporate law, cyber security, constitutional law, family law, administrative law, and jurisprudence.
Minimum eligibility condition is a pass in the intermediate examination in any stream with at least 45% marks. Students also have to obtain a prescribed score in CLAT or LAWCET for getting a seat.
The College of Commerce offers the two-year MBA course with the option to select a specialization. Some of the specializations offered include business analytics, marketing, finance, and human resource development. The student has to be a graduate having attained at least 55% in aggregate in any stream for applying to this program.
Moreover, the candidate has to obtain a specific score in any national level management entrance exam like CAT, MAT, XAT, and AIMA for ensuring admission.
