Under the leadership of the NTPC Education & Research Society (NEARS) and guidance of IIM – Ahmedabad, the NTPC School of Business was established in 2014 in Noida. Both the Courses PGDM – (Executive Management) and PGDM (Energy) are AICTE approved.

Applicants have to register online for admission in the institute as it does not consider offline applications.
The Selection process of both PGDM courses includes two steps. Firstly, candidates who are eligible for the programs get shortlisted for Personal Assessment. In the Second step selection is on the basis of merit of Final Composite Scores.
During the first round, the Composite Scores are counted which are calculated by computing GMAT / CAT / XAT / Other Management Score, 10th & 12th Academic Performance, and Diversity Factor. The Final Composite Scores of the Final Round are calculated by utilising Work Experience, CS, and Personal Assessment marks.
