JIS School of Polytechnic: Admission 2025, Fees, Rankings, Kalyani

With the motive of incorporating Diploma Education, the JIS School of Polytechnic was set up under the umbrella of JIS Group Educational Initiatives in the year 2009. The institute has been approved by AICTE and affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WEBSCTE). The institute runs with a mission to cultivate and strengthen the education by inculcating awareness, innovation, interaction, creation, and exposure among the students.

3 years Diploma / 2 years Diploma (Lateral/VOCLET) Courses are offered by the institute under diverse streams namely:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Computer Science and Technology
• Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

For applying for admission at the JISSP, the candidates have to fill up the application form available at the college website. Admissions are done based on the JEXPO / VOCLET Rank of the candidates. They have to go through the JEXPO / VOCLET Counseling after which they may select their desired discipline.

Eligibility Criteria:

• For 3 years Diploma Courses – Candidate must have cleared 10^th standard with a minimum of 35% marks along with a valid JEXPO score.
• For 2 years Diploma (Lateral/VOCLET) Courses – Candidate must have cleared 12^th standard (from vocational or ITI Background) with at least 60% marks and a valid VOCLET score.

*Note: The candidates may also apply for direct admission through the management quota.
