SAGE University came into force in 2017. The university had many established institutions for a period of time but it has reached new highs since it has been converted into a university. SAGE is an abbreviation of Sagar Group of Education Society that manages the university. The university has been approved by UGC and AICTE. Mr. Sanjeev Agarwal serves as the current chancellor of this prestigious university. The university is spread in 25 acres of land. SAGE University Indore has 14 prestigious institutes under its belt and has around 500 faculty who take care of all the institutes of the university.
The University provides admission in over 125+ courses in streams such as UG, PG, diploma, and research programs that includes some of the most decorated courses such as architecture, engineering, and business studies. The university has introduced its own entrance program called SEE which is required for both the campuses of the university be it Indore or Bhopal. The university also has some reservations for the students who have appeared for national or state level entrances.
The university’s vision is to remould students into a finished product who in later part of their lives become competent leaders. Walk-in inquiries: The admission team at the campus has helped one and many to choose the best course for them. The counsellors of the university are quite helpful and make students feel home at the university. The students are asked about their preferred course/programme and then it is checked whether the student is eligible for that or not. If the student has required SEE score and all their certificates are found wanting, then admissions are provided.
Online Admissions: Students interested in talking admissions to the SAGE University can visit the university website. The admission box in the site has all the details and after reading that one can fill the SAGE University Indore online application form. All the courses offered by the university are listed there and students can fill the form by paying the application fee of 1600 through Debit/Credit card or even UPI. The application fee is INR 1,600 and the application can only be submitted after paying the application fees. If your documents meet the eligibility criteria you will be notified about the same and in a short tenure you will have to visit the campus for document verification and admissions will be done.
Admission through Entrance Exams: The University has its entrance but for law, engineering and management course many other entrance scores are accepted but mind you the cut-offs are high. Be it CLAT, JEE, AIEEE, CAT, or MAT, admissions are granted on their scores apart from SEE scores.
International students wanting to apply for SAGE University have their own procedure and from letter of recommendation to SOP (Statement of Purpose) for visa documentation are provided by the university if they are found eligible for admissions.
SAGE University Indore Scholarship seats are limited and students will be required to fill a scholarship form when they apply for admissions. Also, the scholarships are only for the 1st semester or year depending upon the course. The scholarships are just on tuitions fee and rest all fees had to be paid to secure admissions at SAGE University Indore. There are categories in which the scholarships are divided and they are:
A - >=95% (100% Scholarship)
B - 90-95% (75% Scholarship)
C - 80-90% (35% Scholarship)
D - 70-80% (25% Scholarship)
E - 60-70% (15% Scholarship)
F – Cultural/Sports (100, 50 & 25% Scholarship for representing at International, National & State Level Respectively)
The scholarships are renewed only if they keep on performing in the academics as students topping the charts at semester exams are the ones who are awarded scholarships every semester.
