The different institutions under SAGE University offer around 50 academic courses and programs between and amongst themselves. Following are the details of some of the most popular programs:-

B. Tech (artificial intelligence and machine learning)

The Institute of Advanced Computing, under the aegis of SAGE University, enrolls students for the above four-year B. Tech course. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are two emerging areas of technology that have made immense strides of recent. Both machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies nowadays find extensive application in e-commerce, web-based services, smartphones, security, and other areas.

Artificial intelligence as one specialization areas under advanced computing, relates to techniques for imparting intelligence to machines and computers. This undergraduate program teaches students on how AI and ML can make computers smart enough to develop skills from experience. Simply put, students will learn to devise strategies to transform computers into intelligent machines, capable of collaborating holistically with humans.

According to NASSCOM, the artificial intelligence/machine learning industry will generate revenues of more than $20 billion by 2020. Therefore, once a student completes the B. Tech (AI/ML) course, he’ll be able to find an entry-level job quite easily. A B. Tech (AI/MI) student can expect to start working as a data engineer, AI engineer, game developer or automation engineer.  

An applicant needs to clear his final class XII examination with English as a mandatory subject. He also to secure pass marks in any three subjects, including physics, mathematics, biology, and computer. The candidate will also have to obtain a minimum stipulated score in JEE (Mains) for increasing his chances of gaining admission.

B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)

The B. Arch program offered by Institute of Architecture is a five-year course offered by the Institute of Architecture. The innovatively designed course curriculum equips students with theoretical and practical aspects of architectural science. Students develop a robust understanding of how to design a modern-day structure, abiding by architecture principles and eco-friendly standards. 

The students, following acquire the ability to design structures that are aesthetically appealing as well as functional, economic, and safe. Budding architects have the requisite skills to create blueprints of houses, condominiums, corporate offices, hotels, airport terminals, and so on. Any applicant interested in pursuing B. Arch must clear the 10+2 exam, attaining at least 50% marks in aggregate.

The subject combination in his final examination should be English, mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

B. Design (Product Design)

The Institute of Design registers students for the B. Design course that has an academic schedule of three years. During the study, students pick up concepts about ideating and executing design solutions. They learn to strategize and implement design resolutions for issues revolving around brand development, sales, sustainability, marketing, form, and function.

Candidates also attain design skills, enabling them to deal with both simple and complicated hurdles to mobility on public and private transportation. Those students who’ve cleared their 10 +2 (any stream) are eligible to apply for this program. Additionally, the applicants will have to secure the stipulated score in any national level design entrance exam, including DAT, MITID, UCSD, and SET.

BA (Journalism & Mass Communication)

The three year BA (journalism & mass communication) course endows students with the skills essential for working in media. The knowledge students will make them capable of contributing to television production, print journalism, online journalism, and event management. They’ll also develop the competency to establish their career in photojournalism, radio production, public relations, social media, and filmmaking.

The BAJMC course mainly focuses on hands-on training and practical application of the concepts that students learn. In the past two decades, the different media fields have undergone a radical transformation. Internet technology and automated social media have brought about irreversible changes in media and journalism.

Students after completing the BAJMC course will be able to explore and take advantage of the plethora of job opportunities. The candidates will be in a position to work as a photojournalist, columnist, associate editor, reporter, correspondent, and so on. Applicants simply need to be 10+2 pass for applying to this undergraduate course.

MBA (Master of Business Administration)

The ‘Institute of Management Studies’ one of the constituent schools of SAGE University monitors admission for the two-year MBA program. The syllabus of this master degree course instills students with thorough knowledge about subjects related to business management and administration. The applicant can choose anyone out of the different specialization areas including entrepreneurship, event management, marketing, and financial management.

The eligible candidate should hold a graduate degree (any stream) from a UGC recognized college or University.
