The Career Development Centre at VIT-AP University ensures that placement activities are conducted smoothly and proper training has been provided to students. The university also has a Placement and Training Cell that focuses on enhancing the skills and aptitude of students. It also offers students ample opportunities to get placed in leading organisations of their preference after the completion of the course they are pursuing. Under the supervision of professional trainers, the cell arranges Placement Interviews, Group Discussions, and other recruitment activities. The Placement activities conducted at the campus include Mock Interviews, Soft Skill Training, Coding Tests, Group Discussions, Resume Building, and Aptitude Tests. Every year the Career Development Centre provides 10 students an opportunity to work as an intern in international companies located in Germany, Japan, Ireland, the USA, the UK, Italy, etc.

The University also has various Internship Programs where students get the opportunity to learn professionalism and work ethics before getting placed in any leading company. The Cooperative Education Programme in the final semester helps students to process and explore the career path they want to pursue in the future. This internship experience helps students to gain professional skills, and industry connections along with broadening of their perspectives.

The campus of VIT-AP University covers an area of approximately 200 acres and is situated in Amaravati. The campus is designed to provide students with an educational, green, and recreational space where they can make their academic journey enjoyable and meaningful. At present, the university has 2 Academic Blocks and a Central Block. It also has a Student Activity Centre where facilities like Gymnasium, Indoor Sports, Guest House, Multi-purpose Hall, Squash Court, Basketball Court, and Food Court are provided. Some of the major facilities provided by the university are:

• Library: The Air-conditioned library covers an area of around 1470 sq. m. equipped with Wi-Fi and CCTV facilities. It can accommodate 400+ students at a time. It consists of 3 Reading Halls, 3 Discussion Rooms, 1 Periodical Section, and 1 Digital Library with 15+ Computer systems. The library has books, e-journals, e-books, Print Journals, Magazines, Back Volumes, Newspapers, and CDs & DVDs.
• Laboratories: Several well-maintained and well-equipped laboratories on the campus provide students a place to experiment, practice, and innovate.
• Cafeteria: Students can have quick bites as the cafeteria here serves a wide range of food and beverages.
• Hostel: The hostels of the university are well-guarded and secured. Students can take AC or non-AC rooms at their convenience. Each room has a chair, a cot, a cupboard, and a study table. Hostels also have a provisional store from where students can buy basic items such as buckets, pillows, books, locks, mattresses, soaps, and other essentials. Some other facilities include a night canteen, indoor games, convenience store, night library, reading rooms, etc.
• Sports: For the overall development of students, the university provides sports facilities to keep them active and involved. Here students can play sports like Chess, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, etc.
• Transport: Students get bus facilities provided by the university. All the buses are driven by experienced individuals to provide students with secure and safe rides.
