Established in 2005, Institute of Dental Sciences Bhubaneswar commonly known as IDS Bhubaneswar, is affiliated with Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (SOA University). This institute is also approved by the Dental Council of India, and accredited with NAAC. The institute offers UG, PG, and Doctoral courses in the Dental field such as BDS, MDS, and Ph.D programs.

To help the meritorious students with funds, IDS Bhubaneswar provides scholarships. These scholarships assist the students in continuing their education and keep on improving. The institute provides scholarships based on the students’ merit and needs. Please refer to the sections mentioned below to know the categories based on which the institute assists the UG students through scholarships:
IDS Bhubaneswar does not provide any placement. However, UG and PG students get internship opportunities during their coursework. The BDS students get to work as interns in their 4th year of the course. In this way, they get a huge amount of patient exposure. The duration of the internship is 1 year and the students also get stipends every month.
The MDS students also work as interns for 3 consecutive years. These internships help the students use their knowledge in the field and gain practical skills. The stipends offered to them increases every year which keep them motivated to sharpen their skills in their respective departments.
