Panjab University provides accommodation through around 21 residence halls, housing nearly 7,600 students. • Any student moving out of the hostel after 10 PM must sign the mobility register. If any student does not maintain the register, the warden will issue the written warning. If the case gets repeated more than twice, it may lead to expulsion from the hostel.
• Every resident at Panjab University hostel must be present for the attendance that is taken between 9 PM and 10 PM.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in the hostel. Also, any resident found indulged in consumption of intoxicants, drugs or other banned materials will have to face expulsion from the hostel.
• Hostellers are required to have meals in the hostel mess only; cooking in the hostel rooms is prohibited and offenders will have to pay a fine.
• Every student residing at the Panjab University hostel must ensure that any hostel property does not get damaged.
